Now Israel loved Joseph more than any other of his sons, because he was the son of his old age. And he made him a robe of many colors. But when his brothers saw that their father loved him more than all his brothers, they hated him and could not speak peacefully to him. – Genesis 37:3-4
The story of Joseph is one filled with jealousy and hatred, because his father, Jacob, favored him above all of his other children. Yet, even in the midst of this terrible family dynamic, God was working in the background!
May this image be a reminder that, even though we may think we are lost or abandoned, or our family members are far away from God, He is still on the throne, and He is still working! God can redeem anyone, no matter their past.
